By downloading or using The Opponent app, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Opponent, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

The Opponent is a skill-based sports matchmaking platform that allows players to find opponents, book venues, track ELO ratings, and participate in cash-based skill challenges for Snooker, Pool, Badminton, Table Tennis, Tennis, and Pickleball in Pune, India.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts will be banned.
• You must not impersonate other players.

4. Wallet and Payments

• The in-app wallet is used for skill-based cash challenges, venue bookings, and store purchases.
• Minimum deposit: ₹50. Minimum withdrawal: ₹100.
• All payments are processed securely via Cashfree Payments. We do not store card or bank details.
• Withdrawals are processed to your registered UPI ID within 1–3 business days.
• The platform charges a commission on match winnings. Pro and Elite subscribers receive reduced rates.
• We reserve the right to withhold funds in cases of suspected fraud or rule violations.

5. Cash Challenges

• Cash challenges are skill-based competitions between two consenting players.
• Both players must confirm the match result. Disputes are reviewed by our team.
• Entry fees are locked at challenge creation and refunded if the challenge is rejected or expires.
• Match results are final once both players confirm. Fraudulent result reporting will result in account suspension.

6. Venue Bookings

• Venue availability and pricing are provided by partner venues and may change without notice.
• Cancellation and refund terms are outlined in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• The Opponent is not liable for venue conditions, equipment quality, or venue-side cancellations.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Colluding with opponents to manipulate match results.
• Using bots, scripts, or automated tools.
• Creating fake accounts or using another person's identity.
• Any form of harassment or abusive behaviour toward other players.
• Attempting to exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the platform.

8. Platform Commission

The Opponent charges a platform fee on cash match winnings:

• Free users: 10% of total prize pool
• Pro subscribers: 5% of total prize pool
• Elite subscribers: 3% of total prize pool

This fee is automatically deducted before winnings are credited to the winner's wallet.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and designs on The Opponent app are owned by AppUX Spark. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any app content without prior written consent.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Wallet balances of terminated accounts due to fraud will be forfeited.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Opponent is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount in your wallet at the time of the claim.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
